Pepper

The Story

Meet Pepper Pepper is an American Cocker Spaniel with a big personality packed into a small, beautiful package. She is smart, fierce, a little bossy, and almost always in motion. She can be timid when meeting someone new, but with her family, Pepper is all love. She cuddles, stays close, and always seems to be waiting for someone to tell her what’s happening next. Her family says Pepper has never had a bad day — and somehow, that feels like the perfect way to describe her. She approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm, whether she’s following her favorite people, settling into her beloved bed after a busy day, or simply enjoying one of her favorite little routines. And Pepper watches TV. Not just sitting in the room while it’s on — she **really watches**. She’ll lie on the floor with her favorite toy, completely absorbed in the big screen, looking for all the world like a little kid enjoying her favorite show. That tiny detail made me smile because it says so much about her: curious, attentive, playful, and always interested in what’s going on around her. When I created Pepper’s miniature, I wanted to capture more than her beautiful black-and-white coat and expressive face. I wanted a little bit of *her* to be there too — the intelligence in her eyes, her confidence, her sweetness, and that wonderful sense that she’s always ready for whatever comes next. And when her owner finally opened the box, the first words were: **“Oh, so cute!”** Then she looked a little closer. **“Adorable.”** And that is the moment I create these miniatures for. Because the goal isn't simply to make a sculpture that looks like a beloved pet. It’s to capture enough of their personality that, when someone looks at that tiny face, they recognize **their dog**. **Pepper · No. 54** Handcrafted with love by **Art with Nika** *Every pet has a story worth remembering. *
